Most Muslim children attend public schools and families often rely on weekend Islamic schools to educate their children on the basics of their faith. But are these schools preparing children for their life ahead? What are the challenges that Muslim children face today, and what recommendations can recent research provide? While many, if not all, of these schools are currently closed all over the country, ISPU hopes that teachers and leaders can use this opportunity to evaluate how their schools are run and implement research-based recommendations to ensure weekend Islamic schools are setting up their students for success. Join us as we discuss these topics with a panel of experts and share ISPU’s recommendations for educators, administrators, and parents.
