A mosque is a place to nurture spirituality and connect with fellow community members. With this in mind, ISPU’s Reimagining Muslim Spaces project aims to provide research-driven recommendations to the American Muslim community in their efforts to build more accessible and community friendly mosques, especially for oft-marginalized groups such as women, youth, and converts. Join us on Saturday, October 14, for an insightful and important discussion on how to create a welcoming mosque for all.
Speakers will include Meira Neggaz, ISPU’s Executive Director, and Mustafa Ahmed, Vice Chair of ISPU’s Board of Directors and co-founder of the RAHMA Mercy Clinic, a nonprofit community initiative focused on delivering care to the underserved and uninsured. After the presentation, the audience will have the opportunity to engage in a Q & A discussion.
