This Ramadan, your support will help us continue to produce research and reach policymakers, media, and the public across the U.S.

Let’s take a moment to imagine an America without ISPU. What would the American Muslim community look like? What would America look like?

Without ISPU, we wouldn’t have in-depth research on widespread discrimination of American Muslims. We wouldn’t know how many Muslims face food insufficiency on a weekly basis. We wouldn’t know just how many young Muslim children are bullied in school. Without ISPU, we wouldn’t know about the many issues affecting the lives of American Muslims.

During a time of heightened Islamophobia and anti-Muslim sentiment–like we’ve witnessed in the past few months–it’s even more important for this crucial work to continue, as Muslims across America are impacted by global events. This work is needed to create safer, more inclusive environments.

And during this time of intense community grief and pain, it’s more important than ever for all Americans to understand Muslims and the issues that impact them–including Muslim opinions on issues like a ceasefire in Gaza. Having research like this–the first of its kind to analyze the opinions of religious groups in America–is key to building understanding and driving change.

For years, changemakers—from policymakers to researchers and community leaders—have all relied on ISPU for relevant, timely research on American Muslims to campaign for new policies and initiatives for the betterment of the community. Without this research, they wouldn’t have the data needed to make compelling cases for change. Instead, they may have relied on anecdotes, or worse—stereotypes.

Reaching and equipping policymakers—and other changemakers—is a core part of our mission at ISPU. We know that when the right research is in the right hands, policymakers and the general public can make informed decisions that directly impact the lives of Americans.

Bottom line: American Muslims need ISPU, and need your support this Ramadan. Your donation—no matter how big or small—goes toward ISPU efforts to produce the right research and put it into the right hands.

We invite you to consider increasing your donation by 3% to cover processing fees for your donation. Every bit goes to increasing ISPU’s impact.

In challenging times, ISPU research guides and strengthens communities for the long haul. We can’t do it without you.

Data combined with essential human stories guides us, instilling direction and faith that we can transform our world through innovative research and purposeful education. ISPU is the only organization focused exclusively on conducting objective, solution-seeking research on the challenges and opportunities facing American Muslims today.

In complex times, ISPU continues to provide clear, essential research—something we can’t do without you. Your generous donation will support this vital work, helping us:

  • build resilience by strengthening community.
  • collaborate with community leaders and change agents across the country, empowering them with reliable facts.
  • fight false narratives with knowledge.
  • promote pluralism over prejudice.

Even as our country faces health and economic challenges, we cannot afford to lose hard-won ground. American Muslims face very real challenges, and now is the time to help our communities push the reset button, using evidence to build a better future together.

Join us as we continue to guide and strengthen American Muslim communities and our country.
