Hassan Abbas is a Fellow at ISPU and Professor of International Security Affairs at the National Defense University’s College of International Security Affairs (CISA). He was previously the Quaid-i-Azam Chair Professor at Columbia University. Dr. Abbas was also previously a Research fellow at the Kennedy School of Government and a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School. He is currently a Bernard Schwartz Fellow at the Asia Society and Senior Advisor at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He also runs the blog WATANDOST. Dr. Abbas received an LLM, International Law from the University of Nottingham and a Ph.D. in Security Studies from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
